In Spotlight: Ultra Magnus, a group of FastTrack drones defends Scorponok's facility on planet Nebulos.
Apparently, Scorponok was not just developing Headmaster technology, in Spotlight: Ultra Magnus.
He was also planning something much bigger-- Metroplex scale, as suggested in page 6 of SoD: Metroplex.
